CONNECTED COMMUNITIES INITIATIVE

For over 34 years, Dallas City Homes has provided more than housing - we’ve delivered lasting community impact. Our Connected Communities Initiative (CCI) is a new name for the long-standing work we’ve done in our communities. This initiative includes the social services programming we provide at our housing developments and the all-around capacity building efforts for neighborhood associations, more specifically, the Queen City Neighborhood Association. Our social services are centered around the progression of our social determinants of health, the built environment, and life-management skills. Through on-site enrichment resources such as a developing computer lab to bridge the digital divide to wellness programs our work continues to make a difference one resident at a time. As Neighborhood Capacity Building Partners, we’ve equipped the Queen City Neighborhood Association with the tools they need to protect and preserve their historic neighborhood. Whether it’s through annual community events or consulting expertise Dallas City Homes is committed to fostering relationships and building community pride.
