National Night Out 2024 Recap – Queen City
National Night Out (NNO) celebrated its second year in Queen City on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and it was an even bigger success than the first! Hosted at Salem Institutional Baptist Church, the evening brought the community together from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM for fun, fellowship, and connection.
The block next to the church came alive with the sounds of live music, the smell of great food, and the energy of families, friends, and neighbors enjoying the evening. Kids lined up for face painting and games, while community members and local leaders connected in meaningful conversations.
The cooperative, welcoming atmosphere truly reflected the spirit of National Night Out—building stronger relationships, strengthening trust, and celebrating unity across Queen City.

DCH Spring Festival 2023
DCH Spring Festival celebrated Spring and Earth Day, April 22, 2023, at the future site of the Armonia development. We welcomed 75 neighbors, sponsors, community resources, and friends to the event and shared BBQ, information, community news, and lots of laughs. This is one way that DCH works within communities and connects valuable resources with residents.
National Night Out 2023
National Night Out in Texas was October 2, 2023 and in Dallas a number of neighborhoods hosted block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and community gatherings, safety seminars, and family activities to unite neighborhoods with leadership and law enforcement and start more conversations and collaboration to make communities safer.
North Texas Giving Day
An annual day of generosity where Dallas City Homes joins the community to raise funds, support local causes, and make a lasting impact across North Texas.
Hillburn Hills Events
A community celebration bringing residents together through fun activities, local vendors, and family-friendly entertainment — showcasing the spirit and unity of Hillburn Hills.
Armonia Spring Festival
A lively springtime festival filled with music, food, and cultural experiences that celebrate growth, harmony, and community connection in Dallas City Homes.
