Former DCH President, Karen Brooks-Crosby, Granted Award from the Juanita Craft Foundation

We are happy to announce that our former president, Karen-Brooks Crosby, is being awarded a Juanita Craft Humanitarian Award. The Juanita Craft Humanitarian Awards were created to honor Juanita Craft's legacy. Juanita was a leading activist during the civil rights movement and played a crucial role in integration in Dallas, Texas. Her home is a Dallas landmark that now serves as a museum that will serve as an educational tool for generations to come. The awards ceremony recognizes past, present, and future leaders who have made an impact in Dallas.
